Why choose us?
We nurture the whole child — intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. While we prepare children for academic readiness, our deeper focus is on cultivating kindness, resilience and self-awareness — qualities that last far beyond the early years.

Flexible, high-quality childcare
We welcome children from age 3, with both 15- and 30-hour funded places available.
Sessions run term-time only, with options for 3-hour blocks or full days from 8:30am–3:30pm.

Early Years Excellence
Our qualified early years practitioners deliver a thoughtfully sequenced EYFS curriculum enriched by storytelling, purposeful play and meaningful outdoor learning.
Children develop confidence and independence in our carefully designed spaces, supported by regular yoga and mindfulness to build calm, focus and well-being.

Whole-child, values-led care
Everything we do is guided by our six core virtues: self-discipline, empathy, integrity, respect, courage and gratitude.
We view parents as partners in nurturing each child’s spiritual, emotional and moral development.

Convenient location
Situated in the heart of the Stortford Fields development, we are well connected with safe walking routes and a bus stop right outside the school.

pre-school
information
Avanti’s unique ethos places a key emphasis on each individual’s wellbeing and good mental health. All our schools and Pre-Schools share a dedicated approach to wellbeing, from providing yoga and mindfulness sessions, sports and exercise, charity work, and working with parents and carers as co-educators.
We are currently accepting children that are aged three to join our amazing Pre-School and become part of the Avanti family. It is called a ‘Pre-School’ because it is within Avanti Brook Primary School and will give your child an amazing start to school through high-quality planning and resourcing. The Pre-School works closely with the Reception team to ensure consistency across the early years phase and follows the children’s interests when planning. We have a brilliant Pre-school team that is staffed with a fully qualified teacher and a teaching assistant.
We accept both 30 hours and 15 hours funding, parents are also able to pay for sessions at £17.50 each. The lunch hour costs £5 per session and includes lunch as well as adult supervision.
We can provide Breakfast Club for your child each day from 7.30am-8.30am. This is run by our wraparound provider, Premier Education. Further information can be found here.
If you would like to register for a place at Avanti Brook Pre-school, please complete the application by clicking here. Once you have submitted your application, we will be in touch to confirm details and send you more information about your child’s start with us.
We look forward to hearing from you!

“I love that the teachers make the time to feedback, that they are always thinking of ways of how to navigate communication and having a home/school crossover partnership.
I feel Avanti Brook demonstrates genuine care and whole heartedly appreciates my daughter being a student here and hope she gains a place in reception.”
