Uniform requirements update - Sept 2026
Uniform requirements are changing from September 2026, so if you are purchasing any new items, please follow these new requirements.
Dressed to belong
At Avanti Brook, our uniform helps every child feel part of something — a community of learners who are curious, kind and ready to grow. It creates a sense of shared identity and sets the right tone for a day of learning, while keeping costs manageable for families.
We keep things simple and affordable. Most items can be bought from any high street retailer or supermarket. Only a small number of items carry the Avanti logo and must be purchased from our approved supplier.
Our full Uniform Policy can be viewed by clicking the button below.

Need a helping hand?
If the cost of uniform is a concern at any point, please speak to us in confidence. We will always find a way to help, and uniform costs will never prevent any child from starting or attending school.
Labelling your child's uniform
It is vital that all children are able to locate their own property as it facilitates early reading skills, independence and self-esteem. Please ensure that all your child’s clothing and property including shoes are clearly labelled. Your child’s name should appear in lower case letters, with the first letter of their name/surname in capitals.
The most appropriate option is to purchase pre-printed iron-on name labels which will last throughout your child’s school years and are easily available online. If you are not purchasing pre-printed labels, then your child’s first name must be clearly handwritten with a black, permanent marker pen onto iron-on name labels.
MyNametags Avanti Brook is part of the MyNametags fundraising scheme. For every label order you place, the school receives 24% back - please ensure you use our School ID: 109680 on your order.
Every child is welcome
We want every child to feel comfortable and able to take part fully in school life. We will always consider reasonable adaptations to our uniform, including for:
Religious or cultural dress We will do our best to accommodate requirements in keeping with a pupil's faith or beliefs
SEND or medical needs We can agree alternative arrangements where standard items create difficulty
Temporary circumstances Such as a broken limb or a short-term medical need
Please speak to the school inclusion lead if your child needs an adaptation.
Wearing uniform with pride
We ask that all children wear their uniform every school day, clean and in good condition.
If a child arrives without the correct uniform, we will always speak with families and work together to find a solution. We take into account the reasons behind any issues — especially where financial hardship may be a factor — before taking any further steps.
